Only one supplier

Choosing Linde and N.C. Nielsen is based on a wish for long-term cooperation for many years in the future. With N.C. Nielsen as the main supplier, Skamol anticipates a number of advantages of large-scale operations. For example, Skamol only has one point of contact; in fact, only one Key Account Manager with N.C. Nielsen as well as direct contact with a local service engineer.

As the first step in the agreement, N.C. Nielsen delivered seven leased electric trucks of which one is operating at the Fur plant, three at the Branden plant and four are at work at the Rødding location west of Balling where Skamol has its production as well as its central warehouse for the other plants. Together with several stackers purchased from N.C. Nielsen, all Linde machines are now working and contribute to Skamol's internal transport.
